The first thing is make a better design. I don't know much code, but using google I found out how to change from my bland design (yesterday my blog looked like yours, I relaunched the new design today) to a more exciting one.
Try to make a theme for your blog rather than just plain white.
Start with getting a new template.
The quick answer to you question is to be entertaining, but that's easier said than done.
